Your vehicle’s check engine light turning on can be for a number of reasons, most of which will require a mechanic to diagnose. It might just be something simple, like a loose gas cap, or a more serious matter requiring repairs. If the check engine light comes on while you’re driving, don’t panic. See if the car is operating any differently and have it inspected to prevent long-term problems.

You should aim to rotate your tires every oil change, or after every 5,000-6,000 miles. When you rotate your tires, you are supporting even tread wear, which helps improve your vehicle's handling, reduces noise and vibration, and extends the life of the tires.

While there are many variables that affect how often an oil change is needed (climate, conditions, highway or street driving, etc.), you can typically expect to change out your oil anywhere between 5,000-7,000 miles, or around every 6 months.

We recommend changing your fuel filter for older vehicles around every 25,000 miles. Modern vehicles, however, may be able to go longer because it takes more time for rust, dirt, and debris to build up and clog the filter.

No, you don’t need an appointment to get your vehicle serviced at our Mitsubishi service center. Walk-ins are accepted, just be aware of wait times varying based on the time of day. We do encourage scheduling a service appointment beforehand so that we can accommodate your schedule and needs.

A general rule of thumb is to have your brakes checked whenever you rotate your tires - around every 6 months. Not replacing your brake pads at the necessary intervals will gravely reduce your stopping power, leading to wear on your brake discs, and can result in costly repairs in the future.
